How do I install the grips onto my stroller?
Installation is wonderfully simple and takes just a few minutes. You simply zip both sides of the grips over your existing stroller handles and then clamp the center console in place. No tools or complicated assembly required.

Will the grips damage my existing stroller handles?
Not at all. The grips are designed with a seamless fit that sits perfectly over your existing stroller handles without causing any damage. They zip on and clamp securely in place, and they remove just as easily whenever you'd like to take them off.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
The battery provides six to ten hours of warmth depending on which heating setting you choose, so you can adjust based on how cold it is outside and how long your outing will be.
What temperature does the heating element reach?
The Thermalux grips have three heating levels. The low setting warms to around one hundred Fahrenheit, the medium setting reaches one hundred to one twenty Fahrenheit, and the highest setting reaches one twenty to one forty Fahrenheit, so you can find your comfort zone.
How do I charge the accompanying grip battery?
The Thermalux grips powered by a separate lithium Ion battery, connected by either a standard USB cable or USB-C cable. For our recommended batteries, a full charge takes between one to one and a half hours, making them quick and convenient to power up between outings.
Are the Thermalux grips compatible with my stroller?
The Thermalux heated grips are designed to work seamlessly with UppaBaby V2 and V3 models as well as UppaBaby Cruise models. If you have a different stroller, we'd recommend contacting our support team to check compatibility.
What material are the grips made from?
The Thermalux grips are crafted from premium vegan leather, which gives them a sleek, modern look that complements your stroller's aesthetic whilst being cruelty-free and durable for everyday use.
How do I clean and maintain the grips?
The Thermalux grips require surface cleaning only. Simply use a mild leather or vinyl cleaner, similar to what you'd use on a car seat, to wipe down the vegan leather exterior. Avoid submerging them in water or machine washing, as this could damage the battery and heating element inside.
Is it safe for my child?
This product is intended for adults / parents pushing the stroller, and IS NOT intended for children or babies. However, the heating element is fully embedded inside the vegan leather exterior, so it's safe for little hands to touch. The grips provides hand warmth in various settings without any risk electrical shock or burns.
What's covered by the warranty?
Your Velux Thermalux grips come with a one year warranty that covers any manufacturing defects. If you receive a defective product, we'll either replace it or offer a full refund, no questions asked.

Are the Thermalux grips water resistant?
Yes, the Thermalux grips have an industry standard water resistant rating, so you can confidently use them in rainy or snowy conditions without worry. However, we do recommend avoiding fully submerging them in water, as this could damage the internal battery and heating element. This gives parents peace of mind for those unpredictable winter weather days.
Will cold temperatures affect the battery?
Yes, extremely cold subzero temperatures can drain the battery much faster than normal conditions, so we recommend storing your Thermalux grips indoors when not in use during those brutally cold spells. This will help you get the full six to ten hours of battery life you'd expect in milder winter conditions.
